Landscaping and Outdoor Retreat

Balmoral

Communication was key on this project. The clients knew what they wanted, and KL listened.

Key features of this entertaining space include honed Image Crete (Icelandia) feature concrete floors, staircase, and benchtops, all boxed and poured by the KL team. These concrete works are a distinctive attribute of KL.

One of the main challenges was building over sewer infrastructure, requiring extensive unseen underground works. The project was delivered on time and on budget, and the clients were impressed with the professionalism and service provided by KL.

Architectural Build

Banks St, Alderley

We collaborated with architect Jim Gall on this one-off custom build. Featuring natural material design, the home includes large expanses of glass to capture natural light, promote cross ventilation, and create a strong connection to the courtyard and decks.
With open-plan living, built-in joinery, and clear separation between communal and private spaces, this project was a pleasure for KL Building to deliver.

Pool House

Bridgeman Downs

This project was presented to KL as a blank canvas. With no plans available, a description and a few reference images were used to create this distinguished structure. Featuring exposed rafters and a vaulted ceiling, this timeless pool house sits comfortably alongside the pool.

Bathroom and Deck Renovation

Northgate

Our most recent renovation and extension. This project involved reconfiguring the existing dwelling to improve flow, with a master bedroom, walk-in robe, ensuite, lounge, and rear deck extension added to the back of the home.
Key features include spotted gum T&G timber floors, VJ walls, and Woodworkers cedar windows and doors, transforming this character house into a home. Client satisfaction was a priority, with a strong desire to move back in as soon as possible. The project was handed over on time and on schedule.

Extension & Renovation

Stafford

KL Building Projects managed the end-to-end process of the extension and renovation of this beautiful character home in Stafford including; Extension to existing home; suspended slab garage, master suite (including ensuite) and additional bedrooms.

Laundry & Bathroom Renovation

Alderley

KL Building Projects delivered a modern laundry and bathroom for our client in Alderley in North Brisbane. The client wanted to maximise storage and function in these spaces in their home while staying within their budget.

Outdoor Entertaining

Carindale

KL Building Projects delivered an end-to-end service for their clients in Carindale to help design and build this outdoor pavilion. The team managed all relevant approvals for the structure and ensured all relevant trades were on-site to deliver on the clients timeline and budget.
